Currently residing in Los Angeles, California, Markia has expanded her brand through various social media platforms and living out her dream while furthering her passions for acting, her "Let Your Love Be Real" clothing brand, and empowering women through her journal brand "Bubble Thoughts".
Markia spent many days in Atlanta Georgia, she even interned at Radio One Inc. She created Let Your Love Be Real talk show with the help of amazing friends, coming to a screen near you. She wrote, directed, and produced a pilot called Ladies Nite Paint.

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida where she was given the opportunity and foundation to foster her talents by attending LaVilla School of the Arts, Community Theater, and Jacksonville University. She performed at the Florida Theater numerous times.
After graduating from Florida A&M University with Honors in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Performing Arts, Markia relocated to New York City where she dedicated time to work at The Fresh Air Fund, a nonprofit organization, which provided opportunities to NYC youth.
